I get lots of questions about what the design process looks like when you commission custom GIF stickers! In this post, we'll walk through each step so you know exactly what to expect and how to get started. :)
step 1
Feel free to reach out anytime through email, Instagram DMs, or here on my website! I'll respond quickly and answer any questions you may have, and then we'll move into the design phase.
STEP 2
This part is all about exploring ideas and finding a clear vision for your GIFs! You can send me a list of designs you'd like to see, including specific products, phrases, concepts, or keywords that reflect your brand. Feel free to send over any brand guide materials, color palettes, and inspiration that you'd like me to incorporate into the GIFs.
If you'd like to make the brainstorming process more collaborative, I'm also happy to come up with a list of ideas to explore! We'll finalize a list of designs that fit you and your brand perfectly.
STEP 3
From there, I'll send you sketches and price quotes for each GIF idea. I'll also include animation ideas for each design to give you an idea of what the final effect will be. I love this step because it gives you a first look at all of the designs as a collection! At this point, you'll choose the GIFs you'd like to move forward with.
STEP 4
This is when I get to animate the designs you selected! You'll be able to view them all on a personalized, password-protected page here on my website. This page will include sections where you can see all of your GIFs as a group, view the pricing breakdown, choose between different animation options, and leave me feedback. :)
STEP 5
From here, I'll make any revisions needed! My price includes 2 rounds of revisions. Once the GIFs are completed and match your vision, we'll move on to the final step.
STEP 6
I'll send you an invoice for the project, either through PayPal or as a PDF via email - whatever is easiest for you. I also accept payment via Venmo or CashApp. :) Once the invoice is filled, I will send you the .GIF files! You will have full rights to use these GIFs both personally and commercially.
STEP 7
If you'd like to make your GIFs searchable on IG stories, I'm more than happy to be a resource for you! Due to Giphy's content policies, I can't upload your GIFs to my channel, but I'll help you set up your own Giphy account and apply for approval as a brand account. This will give you full access to your content and stats.
